A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full Time, On-Site, Licensed Practical Nurse in San Diego, CA! (MIGHT NEED TO FLOAT TO OTHER NEAR BY LOCATIONS).

Licensed Practical Nurse Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The pay for this position is $37/hr
• The required availability for this position is Hours: 9:00A - 5:30P
• • Week 1 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
  • Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities

· Administer vaccinations and injections (e.g., influenza, COVID, TB test placements)

· Obtain and document vital signs

· Assist with emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers

· Manage patient registration, intake, and checkout processes

· Support waiting room flow and conduct tasks such as reminder calls, scheduling, and serving as a chaperone when needed

· Prepare patient care areas and waiting spaces to ensure a positive experience

· Contribute to a mission of providing excellent, patient-focused care

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience administering immunizations and providing evidence-based vaccine education
• EMR documentation experience (EPIC preferred)
• Ability to obtain accurate vital signs
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED competency
