Poké2 Grill is looking for one Assistant Manager and General Manager to join our Downey team, located at 9523 Lakewood Blvd., Downey, CA 90240. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business operations
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
- Manage staff and delegate responsibility as needed; provide follow-ups
- Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
- Make quick runs to the store for ingredients as needed
- Potential opportunity to take on weekly Costco responsibilities for drinks inventory
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics, which support our values and culture
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organized
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused workplace
- Must have a valid CA Driver's License and reliable transportation. SUV or Truck preferred.
