Job Description
Will be responsible for the assembly and soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). In this entry-level role, you follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with established standards.
- Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and finished products by following detailed work instructions and documentation.
- Identify and verify electronic components using part numbers, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Inspect solder joints for quality, alignment, and workmanship, ensuring they meet IPC and internal quality standards.
- Use hand tools such as soldering irons, cutters, and pliers safely and effectively during assembly operations.
- Follow IPC workmanship standards and internal quality procedures throughout the assembly process.
- Document completed work accurately and report defects, nonconformances, or issues to production leads or supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area to support efficient and safe operations.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for electronic components and equipment.
- Support production goals by meeting productivity targets and assisting with other assembly or related tasks as needed.
Work Environment
This position is on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
