Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through high school. This assignment offers positions providing in-person services within elementary and K-12 settings, ensuring a meaningful impact across a variety of grade levels. With manageable caseloads and strong support from SLPAs, you'll be able to deliver effective, personalized care while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Your experience will be valued in these roles, providing direct assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and supporting students’ speech, language, and communication success. The settings are onsite, focused in areas near Victorville as well as Needles, with potential travel to nearby educational sites (mileage reimbursed).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathology license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- California CTC Clear Credential
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfort working across K-6 and K-12 grade levels
- Ability to provide onsite, in-person services only (no virtual opportunities)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver direct therapy services to a caseload of up to 55 students, with SLPA support
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members
- Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel as needed for site visits (mileage reimbursed)
These contract positions run from early August 2026 through early June 2027, providing stability as well as professional growth.
