Job DescriptionSalary: $30-$37 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Associate who will take direction from our Equipment Manager to load and unload equipment, clean trucks and equipment, clean-up, and make daily jobsite deliveries. This position requires a clean driver record and a Class A CDL. Knowledge in construction preferred.

Primary responsibilities:

• Take direction and job tasks on a day-to-day basis from Equipment Manager
• Jobsite deliveries to various sites across Northern California
• Ensure equipment is in good condition through equipment inspections
• Load and unload construction equipment and material safely
• Yard/trucks are kept organized, orderly, clean and safe
• Properly load, deliver, and unload contruction equipment
• Equipment Safety Inspections

Essential Skills:

• Experience driving/backing trailers/ Strapping down equipment (Class A CDL Required)
• Clean driving record
• Experience/certification with forklifts
• Experience loading/unloading trucks including semi-tractor trailers and basic knowledge of equipment operation( Backhoe, Mini ex, Skid, Etc.)
• Able to take direction from others on a daily basis, communicate and work well with others, understand directions and communicate them with others, as well as understand the job tasks and instructions given
• Ability to work independently once tasks are assigned
  
• Basic mechanics knowledge/Troubleshooting

Work Hours:

• Monday thru Friday 7:00a to 3:30p hourly
• Occasional weekend and overtime hours will be required
