Job Title: Power Platform Analyst / Power Automate Developer
Location: Rocklin, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Monday & Thursday)
Pay Rate: 65/hr-70/hr
Duration: 12 Month - Ongoing Contract
Overview
We are seeking a Power Automate / Power Platform professional to support a leader in the utility industry. This individual will serve as a key contributor in designing and implementing scalable automation solutions, with a strong focus on improving data processes, reporting efficiency, and overall operational workflows.
This is a high-impact, solution-focused role where the ideal candidate will take ownership of problems, proactively identify opportunities, and build automation solutions that drive efficiency across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Power Automate architect, designing and building automation solutions to streamline enterprise data workflows
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support reporting and business decision-making
- Analyze large datasets (including SAP-driven data) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
- Consolidate data from multiple sources (50+ datasets/flows) into streamlined, usable formats for reporting and analysis
- Build automation processes to extract, transform, and combine data from various spreadsheets and systems
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive continuous optimization through automation
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with Power Automate (building and integrating datasets, workflow automation)
- Strong experience developing Power BI (PBI) dashboards
- Background in data analytics (trend analysis, reporting insights, invoicing analysis, etc.)
- Experience handling and consolidating large, complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a solutions-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills (ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders)
- Self-starter who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently
