Job Title: Registered Nurse – Oncology
Location: Tarzana, CA
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $50.00 – $58.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Oncology to provide high-quality outpatient oncology nursing care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional oncology services.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinical setting.

Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions while developing individualized care plans.

Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other prescribed treatments according to established protocols.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Float to other oncology clinics as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Required Qualifications

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience.

Minimum of 1 year of outpatient oncology nursing experience.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).

Current ONS/ONCC certification.

Active California RN license at the time of submission.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Previous experience in an outpatient oncology clinic.
