Sun up, tools out. You arrive to a clean, well-equipped NFI shop and clock into a steady schedule our recruiters helped you choose. You scan a dedicated company trailer with JPRO and OEM diagnostic software, trace an electrical fault with a multimeter, correct a brake issue, then switch to suspension work. After lunch, you weld a small repair, rotate tires, document every step, and brief a customer on the work performed. You end the day knowing you kept our fleet safe, compliant, and moving.

What You’ll Work On

  • Routine services: oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Diagnostics for trailer electrical, suspension, and brake systems using JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows-based tools
  • Repairs and part replacements: tires, brakes, suspension components
  • Light welding and fabrication when needed
  • Accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Clear communication with customers about findings and repairs
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and shop guidelines

What You Bring

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Technical or advanced degree, or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Hands-on troubleshooting ability with JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork mindset and customer service focus with strong verbal and written communication
  • Completion of an on-site evaluation with recommended training
