Job DescriptionPosition: Elementary Teacher (Montessori School)
Our independent private Montessori school is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Elementary Teacher. We are committed to fostering a learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and leadership among our students. Our goal is to provide exceptional education and empower students to become compassionate, confident leaders.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and supervise individualized learning programs for students
- Prepare and maintain the Montessori environment
- Participate in staff meetings, parent functions, and conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Attend to any additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Experience with the Montessori philosophy of education is strongly preferred
- Passion for the Montessori approach to education, with ongoing personal development in this area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to align with and exemplify our school’s values
- Meet state education requirements
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- Additional school-specific requirements may apply
