Job DescriptionMatthews Signs is a high-output sign company focused on quality work, safe crews, and a family oriented work environment. We are a company who cares about the people on our team. We’re hiring a Lead Installer to run a two-person crew and take ownership of field execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Load and transport signage using crane trucks, pickups, and trailers
- Lead installations (channel letters, monuments, panels, etc.)
- Direct a helper and maintain jobsite productivity
- Communicate with customers and contractors on-site
- Report site conditions and issues to management in real time
- Operate lifts and equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe work area/truck
- Report any maintenance needs for trucks
- Complete job photos and required documentation
- Perform night work as needed (night differential provided)
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of lead sign installation experience
- Proficient with lifts, tools, and field problem-solving
- Owns a complete set of installation tools
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- OSHA and lift certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Works with urgency and follows through
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Valid Class B Driver's License (required)
Work Requirements
- Daily field work with regional travel
- Out-of-town work within California required
- Ability to work varied schedules, including nights as needed
