Gold Rush Chevrolet/ Subaru is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and driven to provide an exceptional customer experience while helping customers maintain and repair their vehicles.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring repairs and maintenance are communicated clearly and completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests
- Prepare repair orders and provide estimates for recommended services
- Communicate vehicle status updates throughout the repair process
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs
- Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines
- Review completed repairs and explain invoices to customers
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Follow dealership policies, procedures, and CSI standards
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
- Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- DealerTrack, X-time or dealership management system experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
