GlenBrook Health Center is immediately hiring for a Full Time Lead Diet Aide.
- Schedule is Sunday to Thursday (off Fridays and Saturdays). 11:00am to 7:30pm. Full Time position.

The Diet Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.
What you will bring
- Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Six month’s experience as a diet aide or diet clerk in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required. Will train on-the-job.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
- Ability to interpret standardized recipes, instructions, specifications and standards.
- Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
- Requires empathy for the elderly.
- Legally Authorized to work in the United States
