ONT Airport - GSE Level III Mechanic
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (10:00pm - 6:30am)
Wage: $35/hr - $37/hr
Strong Electrical Experience Required

The GSE Mechanic Level III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on both motorized and non-motorized airline and aircraft ground support equipment.
** WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A GSE MECHANIC III**
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, or modify various systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and more
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using test equipment and manuals in accordance with safety and industry standards
- Service equipment with necessary fluids such as fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, water, and compressed air
- Operate, test, and assess ground equipment performance and complete related documentation and parts tracking
- Adhere to safety procedures and demonstrate high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

**QUALIFICATIONS **
-
18 years of age or older
-
Eligible to work in the United States
-
6 years of verified experience required
-
Must provide their own tools and toolbox
-
Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
-
Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
-
Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
-
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
-
Pass a background check and drug screen
-
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
