Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Roofing Estimator/Project Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role requires managing roofing projects from estimation to completion and includes tasks such as preparing detailed project estimates, coordinating with clients, managing budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects. The role additionally involves vendor and subcontractor relationship management, compliance with safety standards, and quality assurance. While occasional site visits are required, some work-from-home flexibility is offered for administrative tasks.
Qualifications
. 3 yrs + in commercial roofing project estimation and bid preparation for commercial roofing projects
- Experience in project management
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Excellent client relationship management and customer service skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in construction
- Proficient in relevant software, estimating tools, and project management platforms
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
