About the Role:Motel 6 Ventura Beach is seeking a reliable and motivated Houseman/Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance and housekeeping teams. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, keeping things running smoothly, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming property for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light maintenance and minor repairs (painting, plumbing, touch-ups, etc).
- Assist housekeeping with daily operations and general property upkeep.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and storage areas in a safe, organized condition.
- Report and respond promptly to maintenance or safety issues.
- Support the maintenance manager and property team as needed.
Schedule:
- Part-time — approximately 20–25 hours per week (schedule may vary).
Pay Range:
- $16.50– $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Basic maintenance and repair skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
