Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
- Adaptable and patient, willing to respond to changing classroom needs
- Team-player mindset with the capacity to follow directions and work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers by assisting with classroom management and instructional activities
- Help individual students or small groups understand lessons, complete assignments, and stay engaged
- Assist with supervising students in various settings, including classroom, playground, and arrival/dismissal times
- Foster an organized, safe, and supportive learning atmosphere
- Support students with special needs or learning differences under the direction of certified staff
- Communicate observations and student progress to lead teachers or school staff as needed
