Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire an SDC Teacher – Moderate Needs Education Specialist for next school year.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted instruction in the resource specialist setting to students with mild to moderate support needs

Provide consultation and co-teaching support to general education teachers within inclusive classrooms

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with measurable annual goals and benchmarks

Serve as case manager for a caseload of students, coordinating services and communicating with families

Track and document student progress toward IEP goals and California grade-level standards
Qualifications:

California Education Specialist Credential
-
Prior special day class teaching experience preferred

Excellent case management, communication, and collaboration skills
