Job Title: Quality Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing the receiving inspection process, conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs), and developing comprehensive inspection plans for various stages of production. Your role will involve ensuring the calibration of test equipment, conducting audits for AS9100, and supporting in-process and final inspections across production.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the receiving inspection process.
- Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Create and implement inspection plans for receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Ensure calibration of test equipment (M&TE).
- Conduct audits for AS9100.
- Support in-process and final inspections across production.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in quality inspection and control.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks.
- Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience in aerospace quality assurance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical and electronic inspection processes.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Experience in manufacturing or medical device industries.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
