Job DescriptionGeotechnical Engineer (P.E.) - Mid - Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer (P.E.)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer (P.E.) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing soil, rock, and other geologic materials to inform construction projects and ensure structural integrity. This role involves collaboration with project managers and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative and safe foundation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments for various projects.
  • Evaluate soil and rock properties and perform material testing.
  • Design shallow and deep foundation systems according to project requirements.
  • Analyze slope stability and retaining wall designs.
  • Assess seismic risks and liquefaction potential for construction sites.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for project review.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 3+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of foundation design, slope stability, and material testing.
  • Familiarity with geologic studies and construction materials.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
