Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
The General Production Worker refurbishes and assembles large storage containers by painting, repairing, and rebuilding components using hand and power tools. This role focuses on restoring existing units and constructing new units from kits while maintaining a clean and safe work area throughout the shift. The role is based inside a warehouse environment with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, with overtime required only on rare occasions.
Responsibilities
- Paint storage containers using brushes and rollers, ensuring even coverage and a high-quality finish.
- Use power tools such as drills and screwdrivers to assemble and repair container components.
- Refurbish and replace floor boards in existing containers as needed.
- Refurbish and repair roofs on storage containers to meet quality standards.
- Replace signs, latches, and other hardware on containers.
- Assemble new storage containers (PODs) from kits according to provided instructions.
- Support the build of a high volume of new PODs and the repair of existing units as production demands.
- Work with newer PODs that may include fiberglass components, following safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing consistent cleanup throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety procedures and use tools and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Essential Skills
- Experience using power tools such as drills and screwdrivers in a production or general labor environment.
- Ability to paint using brushes and rollers on large surfaces.
- Capability to perform general production and assembly work on large units.
- Ability to refurbish and replace floor boards and roofs on storage containers.
- Comfort working with fiberglass materials and ability to confirm no fiberglass-related allergies.
- Physical ability to work on and around large containers that can be 8 to 12 feet high.
- Capacity to follow instructions and assembly kits to build new PODs.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, general production, or assembly work.
- Experience working with large units or structures in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work efficiently on repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to support both new builds and repair work as production needs change.

Work Environment

Team members enter through the front door without badges, and there are no lockers on site, so personal items should be kept to a minimum or managed accordingly. A break room is available for use during designated breaks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
