We are seeking a compassionate, reliable individual to provide friendly companionship and social support.

About the Role:
This is a per diem position, in Person, focused on building a positive connection with the individual. The companion will support him during social outings by providing consistent engagement, conversation, and encouragement. The goal is to help the individual connect with others and work toward developing meaningful relationships.

Schedule:

· Flexible availability required

· Be available and committed for weekend evenings and late shifts

· Per diem (as needed basis)

Responsibilities:

• Provide nonjudgmental, empathetic companionship
• Actively engage and interact with the Individual during outings
• Support social interactions and help foster connections
• Assist with transportation when needed

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and nonjudgmental attitude
• Experience working with individuals on autism spectrum
• Reliable, committed, consistent, and dependable with strong communication skills
• Willing to commit for at least one year
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must pass background clearance
• All new staff will be subject to a 90-day probationary period to ensure a good fit for both parties

Compensation:

· $50 per hour

· Mileage reimbursement when driving the individual
