Now Hiring: Sanitation Technician (2nd/3rd Shift)
Location: California Custom Processing (CCP)
Pay: DOE
PayCruit is hiring a Sanitation Technician for a food manufacturing facility. We are looking for dependable candidates who are flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime and weekends as needed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Interviews are required.
Shift Availability:
- 2nd Shift: Start time between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Start time between 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Must be flexible to work either shift based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment using approved chemicals.
- Assist with disassembling, sanitizing, and reassembling equipment.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sanitation tasks.
- Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers to maintain facility cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and keep waste containers clean.
- Clean walls, ceilings, electrical panels, sanitation tools, and sanitation rooms.
- Maintain exterior areas including sidewalks, parking lots, fence lines, and around equipment.
- Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to work around nut products.
- Follow all GMPs, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and company safety policies.
- Properly wear PPE and safely handle sanitation chemicals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs/ladders, and work in wet, hot, cold, and loud environments.
- Must wear approved slip-resistant footwear.
- Must be authorized and trained before operating equipment or handling chemicals.
