Job Description
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- This position will primarily support one Value Stream.
- The candidate will be responsible for quality engineering, system and process improvements, supplier development and RCCA activity including non-conformance analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures.
- This candidate will lead quality functions for assigned programs from proposal through shipment to customer while complying with customer requirements and achieving cost and delivery expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in relevant engineering discipline
- 2-10 years of relevant Quality and/or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement and strong problem-solving skills.
- Interfacing with customers and suppliers concerning product quality.
- Interpreting customer specifications and then designing and implementing an effective quality program.
- ISO 9000/AS 9100 quality systems.
- Production floor experience, defect reduction, and process improvement.
- Experience in root cause/corrective and preventative action and the ability to lead project teams and customers through the analysis.
