What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate support that helps veterans and seniors maintain their independence and quality of life:
- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Help with shopping, errands, and transportation
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders and observe changes in condition
- Maintain a safe home environment
- Participate in activities that bring joy and engagement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
- Six months of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to serving others
