Job Title: HVAC Installer
Job Description
Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems. Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment. Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
- Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment.
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure installations meet local building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
- Diagnose installation-related issues and make necessary corrections.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners to explain system operation and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Accurately complete work orders, checklists, and required documentation.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Proven experience with gas and electric HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of airflow, combustion, electrical wiring, and refrigerant principles.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Sheet metal expertise.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints.
- Experience with ductwork installation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
