One Tech Engineering is searching for an Electrical Detailer Assistant for a position located in La Jolla or Brea, California. The Electrical Detailer Assistant will support the design of high-voltage substation projects.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in drafting technology or related field and 2 years of hands-on Revit experience.
Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.
Electrical Detailer Assistant Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain 3D Revit models and produce 2D construction drawings to support engineering and construction activities.
- Develop substation layouts and model equipment and basic systems, including conduit, grounding, and cable routing, while ensuring drawings remain accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to coordinate designs and incorporate revisions based on project requirements and feedback.
Requirements of the Electrical Detailer Assistant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in drafting technology or related field and 2 years of hands-on Revit experience.
- Or an Associate Degree and 3 years of hands-on Revit experience.
- Or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of hands-on Revit experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans.
- Substation or utility project experience is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment supporting fast-paced infrastructure projects.
