Title: Travel X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) – Acute Care Hospital
\n Location: Eureka, California
\n Shift: Days, Tuesday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
\n Contract Length: 13 weeks
\n Start Date: ASAP (08/24/2026)
\n Local Hourly Pay: $52/hr to $55/hr
\n Travel Pay breakdown:-
\n Taxable w2: $25/hr
\n Stipend: $1,600/week
\n Weekly Gross: $2,600/week
\n Blended Pay: $65/hr

\n Job Overview
\n Seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join its acute care radiology team. This position offers a four-day workweek and provides imaging services to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced hospital environment. The technologist will perform routine and portable diagnostic radiographic procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
\n Responsibilities
\n Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations for inpatient, emergency, ICU, operating room, and outpatient patients.
\n Conduct routine imaging of the chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, and skull.
\n Assist with fluoroscopic procedures, including upper GI studies, contrast enemas, and barium swallow examinations.
\n Operate portable X-ray equipment and C-arm imaging in surgical settings.
\n Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate.
\n Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic and PACS.
\n Float to similar imaging units as needed.
\n Participate in on-call coverage according to department scheduling.
\n Minimum Qualifications
\n Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience.
\n ARRT (R) certification.
\n California Radiologic Technologist License.
\n California Fluoroscopy Permit (required).
\n Current BLS certification.
\n Experience in a community hospital setting.
\n Epic experience required.
