This role focuses on hands-on production work to support the manufacturing of innovative lightning protection products for wind turbine blades. You will measure, cut, assemble, and package materials while following established processes and quality standards. The position involves precise manual work with small hand tools and handling chemical dipping processes, all within a small, specialized manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Measure materials accurately and cut them into 8-inch pieces using scissors or an X-Acto knife.
- Cut materials similar to film or foil wrapping paper with precision and consistency.
- Dip products into designated chemicals following safety guidelines and process instructions.
- Sit for most of the shift while performing cutting and assembly tasks, standing when required for dipping operations.
- Package the final product according to defined specifications and quality standards.
- Use small hand tools safely and effectively as part of the mechanical assembly and production process.
- Follow all production procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols in the manufacturing area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production flow.
- Work on 2nd shift and remain flexible to support Saturday production needs as required.
- Communicate clearly in English to understand instructions, safety information, and production documentation.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in assembly or production work.
- Strong manual dexterity to handle small components and use hand tools such as scissors and X-Acto knives.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately for material measurement and cutting.
- Capability to perform light lifting of approximately 10–15 lbs.
- Ability to speak and read English to follow instructions and safety information.
- General production experience, including basic mechanical assembly tasks.
- Comfort working with chemical dipping processes while following safety procedures.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting, measuring, and packaging of materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or small production facility environment.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly and production workflows.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team of approximately 15–20 people.
- Reliability and flexibility to work 2nd shift and occasional Saturday hours.
- Comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks in a seated position for extended periods.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with flexibility required to work Saturdays for 3–5 hours starting at 6:00 a.m. The role is based in a small manufacturing facility with approximately 15–20 people, offering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere. Work is primarily performed at a workstation, seated for most of the day, with some standing during dipping processes. The environment involves hands-on use of small hand tools such as scissors, X-Acto knives, and tape measures, as well as handling materials similar to film or foil wrapping paper and working with chemical dipping operations under safety guidelines. There is no computer work required in this role, and lifting requirements are light, typically around 10–15 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
