General Purpose:
Responsible for correcting failures and monitoring the functions of different types of machines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and clean surface.
- Keep machinery in good working condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance and log results.
- Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines, as well as common-sense safety practices.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor within the scope of the employee’s training and abilities.
Skills:
- Ability to support co-workers and be a good team player.
- Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude, can solve problems effectively, and doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty.
- Attention to detail.
