Overview

Landform Fitness is looking for new team members who want to become experts in providing clients true personal fitness and not just a workout in an environment that is focused on the fitness journey and not continuous sales.
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and possess a strong foundation in physiology and anatomy, with the ability to design effective training programs tailored to individual client needs. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized training sessions, group fitness classes, and ongoing support.
Duties
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions to assess client fitness levels and develop customized workout plans.
- Lead small group training (more exclusive than typical classes), ensuring a motivating and safe environment for participants.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices that complement training programs.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages clients to reach their health and fitness goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized training space while adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- One to three years of hands-on training or physical therapy experience
- NASM Certification preferred.
- Proven knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics is essential for effective program design.
- Experience in personal training or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
- Background in sports coaching is a plus, showcasing an ability to motivate individuals or groups.
- Physical therapy experience is very valuable.
- Ability to do mobility assessments during client intake and throughout their journey.
- Familiarity with group fitness instruction techniques is beneficial for leading classes.
- Familiarity with Momence client management platform is desirable.
- Ability to work nights (not past 8PM) and weekends highly preferred.
