This opportunity will give you experience in the technology sector in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in smartphones, televisions, home appliances, and semiconductor innovation — and one of the most well-known brands in the world.LOCATIONSanta Ana, CA 92707COMPENSATION$46 an hourSCHEDULEWorking Model: Fully onsite.CONTRACT TERM1 year contract with a very high likelihood of extensionPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Logistics Risk Analyst focuses on data-driven identification, analysis, and monitoring of logistics risks, serving as the analytical engine of the logistics risk management function and transforming operational data into actionable insights. The role also functions as a Data Analyst, providing business intelligence support through both repeatable and ad hoc reporting (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) that enables informed business decisions.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze logistics data from TMS, WMS, ERP, and claims systems to identify risk patterns and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain logistics risk dashboards, KPIs, and early-warning indicators.
- Track trends in loss, damage, delay, and service failures.
- Support root cause analysis with quantitative evidence and data modeling.
- Prepare regular risk reports and ad-hoc analyses for management review.
- Partner with IT and operations teams to improve data quality and system integration.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments with data analysis.
- Recommend process improvements based on data findings.
- Analyze performance of process activities, identify problem areas, and present findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.
- Establish standardized methods of recording, tracking, and reporting on activity.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required
- 3-6 years of experience in logistics analytics, operations analytics, or supply chain data analysis.
- Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, data matching & comparison), Query, and formula proficiency.
- Communication.

- Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Familiarity with TMS/WMS and logistics performance metrics.
- Experience handling large datasets and building dashboards.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to translate data into business insights.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently or with minimal direction.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards, such as SDLC, ITIL, QA/Testing, Project Management, or Six Sigma.
- Process certification, such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI.
