Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a multi-state personal injury firm representing injured victims in 6 states. In this role, you will take the helm on cases that cannot be resolved fairly in pre-litigation. We are seeking a tenacious and highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join the Los Angeles team.
In this role, you will primarily take the helm on cases that cannot be resolved fairly in pre-litigation. While the vast majority of your workflow will involve files transitioned from our pre-litigation team ready for a lawsuit, certain cases may require your expertise right from intake. Because of this, we are looking for a true team player, someone who doesn’t draw a hard line at "no pre-lit work," but is instead adaptable and willing to do whatever it takes to make a case successful for the client.
Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a robust personal injury litigation docket from the filing of the complaint through final resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and trial.

Draft and respond to complex discovery, and prepare, file, and argue high-impact motions, pleadings, and briefs.

Take and defend depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, and medical/technical experts. Represent clients with confidence in all court hearings and case management conferences.

Engage in rigorous, evidence-based negotiations with defense counsel and insurance adjusters to secure maximum case value.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the litigation process, providing clear communication, compassionate support, and strategic guidance.
Qualifications

Must possess an active license in good standing with the State Bar of California.

4+ years of civil litigation experience (Open to Defense attorneys wanting to transition). Trial or second-chair trial experience is highly advantageous.

A highly collaborative attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist with pre-litigation strategy when the case demands it.

A demonstrated history of success in taking/defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.

Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Compensation Range: $150,000 - $225,000 (Commensurate with experience and track record).

1st Chair and 2nd Chair trial-experienced attorneys will be considered for a higher base salary
