We're Hiring: CockroachDB Database Administrator

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
\n
Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
\n

We're looking for an experienced CockroachDB Database Administrator to support highly available, distributed database environments powering mission-critical applications.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
Design, deploy, and manage highly available CockroachDB clusters across multi-region production environments.
\n
Optimize schema design, indexing strategies, and SQL query performance for distributed databases.
\n
Monitor cluster health, replication, Raft consensus, range distribution, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
\n
Collaborate with engineering teams on schema migrations, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
\n
\n
Required Skills:
\n
5–10 years of Database Administration experience
\n
2–5 years of CockroachDB experience
\n
2–5 years of PostgreSQL experience
\n
At least 1 year of Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) experience
\n
\n
