Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity offers a rewarding blend of professional collaboration, full-time stability, and the chance to impact diverse student populations. Enjoy working in a supportive educational environment starting August 11, 2026, and continuing through June 6, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Active California SLP certification/license (CCC preferred)
  • School-based SLP experience and familiarity with Special Day Class programs
  • Comfort supporting Intensive, Mild/Moderate, and Post-Secondary needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services exclusively onsite
  • Managing a selected caseload, with options including:
    • One site: Two Special Day Classes (High & Post-Secondary, Intensive + Mild Mod)
    • Two sites: Combination of Middle (Intensive + Mild Mod) and Elementary (Special Day Class)
    • One site: Mild Mod Program for TK through Grade 5
  • Conducting evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state education regulations
