We are an established Tire Wholesaler looking for route drivers for our warehouse in North Hollywood.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Deliver Tires in a timely manner to our customers and Stores in Southern California, providing excellent customer service.
· Drive vans and 16 foot trucks.
· Load and Unload Tires; inspect Tires
· Maintain warehouse inventory by assisting in inventory audits.
· Stock and transfer tires to appropriate bin, including bin locations.
· Pick Up/ Transfer tires to and from Stores, Customers and Warehouse
· Assemble pallets of tires as necessary
· Pull orders for delivery and transfers; load onto correct truck or transfer to packing area using a forklift
· Prepare documentation/invoices and delivery orders or all shipments
· Submit appropriate inventory (incoming and outgoing)
· Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA standards
· Turn in cash and all payments to Accounts Receivable.
· Maintain the truck assigned to you. Clean and operational per DOT requirements.
· Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
· Requires safe and clean driving record.
· Basic math and good reading skills
· English and Spanish preferred
· Experienced Drivers preferred
