A lovely family in West LA is seeking a nurturing and reliable Full-Time Nanny to join their household starting August 31st. They have two daughters, a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. The primary focus will be on caring for the younger child, with afternoon and occasional support for the preschooler during school closures.
- Start date: August 31st
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:45pm
- Occasional Half Days on Fridays with notice
- Compensation: $25 + occasional overtime
Responsibilities
- All aspects of care and monitoring for two children including:
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones
- Light meal prep
- Diaper changes
- Maintain child's schedules and routines as set by parents
- Communicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toys
- Walking to and from the older child's preschool for pick-up in the afternoons
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
CompensationThis position pays $25 per hour, and the family is looking for 39 hours of care per week with occasional overtime.
