PrideStaff is seeking experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Vista, Ca.
Position: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Hours: Monday through Friday
Location: Vista, Ca
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Summary:
- Assembles a range of components into finished goods across production lines. Responsible for achieving
daily production/assembly requirements per the production schedule. Responsible for safety, quality,
and throughput working to meet customer expectations and requirements. Works with Production
Leads to optimize throughput, improve efficiency, and maintain operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times.
- Ensure all documents / records are completed appropriately.
- Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
- Ensure achievement of production throughput against stated capacity targets.
- Exemplify adherence to procedures and instructions.
- Monitor and maintain all safety rules, equipment and tools.
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Able to read and follow standard operating procedures.
- File, lap, and buff parts to fit, using hand and power tools.
- Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and portable power drills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Desired Skills:
- Technical Program Certification (TCI) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience using hand-held tools and power tools.
- Is self-aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change.
- Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together.
- High levels of motivation, optimism and action orientated.
- Exercise considerable initiative/judgement in work methods.
- Ability to lead by example, gain respect from team and communicate with clarity while demonstrating excellence in approach to work.
- Good verbal communication and team-building skills.
- Good organization and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and recognized Six Sigma tools (Yellow, Green Belt, etc.) is a plus.
