HTF Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Mod/Severe) for a high school setting in Sonoma, California. This is a full-time opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Position Details
- Location: Sonoma, CA 95476
- Student Age Group: High School (Ages 9–12)
- Credential Required: California Mod/Severe Special Education Credential
- Schedule: 37.5–40 hours per week
- Start Date: August 2026
- End Date: June 2027
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with general education staff, service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Valid California Mod/Severe Special Education Credential
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
