Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trust and Estate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation in the areas of trust and estate planning, probate, and related matters to our clients. This role is crucial in helping clients navigate the complexities of estate management and ensuring their wishes are fulfilled in accordance with the law.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on trust and estate planning matters
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Assist clients with probate and estate administration processes
- Represent clients in court regarding disputes related to trusts and estates
- Conduct legal research to stay current with laws and regulations
- Build and maintain client relationships through excellent communication and service
- Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and inheritance
Qualifications
- Jurisdictionally licensed attorney with a valid law license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust and estate law
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset
