Overview:
We are seeking a licensed California Smog Technician in the Lake Forest area. This position is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in accurate testing and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform California Smog Check inspections in compliance with BAR regulations
- Accurately complete smog certificates and electronic reporting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Follow all state and shop procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Current California Smog Check Technician License
- Passing FPR score (0.4 or better)
- Ability to perform smog inspections independently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and integrity
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license
- A minimum of one professional reference
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a smog technician
- Familiarity with BAR-OIS systems
- Strong customer service skills
