Registered Nurse | Short Stay | Templeton, California, United States
Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 32 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role includes the professional nursing functions of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with potential scrub assistance as needed. The assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Shift: 5x8 Days (rotating schedule available; start times may include 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM)

- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital; travel assignment
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across applicable age groups per unit protocols
- Coordinate care with the health care team; delegate appropriate tasks; provide direction to other staff as needed
- Administer medications and document accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain patient safety and privacy; uphold infection control and quality standards
- Support discharge planning by providing education and information to patients and families
- Function as a Scrub Technician when required and participate in emergency response plans (Code Blue, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with team members; deliver clear, concise handoffs and reports
- Comply with unit policies, standards of nursing practice, and hospital policies
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in the state of practice (California)
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in the field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience
- One-year acute care OR perioperative experience is preferred
- Ability to work a rotating schedule with start times of 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM; open to 4x8s or 3x12s; no set days
