Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
Locations: Walnut Creek, Santa Barbara, and Greater Los Angeles Area, California
Employment Type: Full-Time / Travel Assignment
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + Travel Stipend (Food & Lodging)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and provide high-quality rehabilitative care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across California. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated clinician who enjoys flexibility, travel, and making a meaningful impact in multiple communities.
Responsibilities

Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as needed.

Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.

Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.

Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.

Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.

Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.

Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.

Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Associate's degree or greater - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License & In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Requirements

Education: Associate’s degree in occupational therapy assistant.

Licensure: Current and valid California COTA license.

Experience: Prior SNF experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and time-management skills.

Travel: Willingness to travel between Walnut Creek, Santa Barbara, and the Greater Los Angeles area as needed.
