SYNERGY HomeCare of Central San Diego is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver to join our team and provide quality, person-centered care to individuals with autism.

Position Details

• Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour

• Position: Caregiver

• Experience Required: At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with autism

• Weekend Availability: Must be available to work at least one weekend day

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to clients with autism.

• Assist with activities of daily living based on each client’s individual needs.

• Support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines as needed.

• Encourage independence and participation in appropriate activities.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Follow individualized care plans and client-specific instructions.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team.

• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or needs.

• Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience working with individuals with autism.

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred.

• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and responsible.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow individualized care plans and client-specific instructions.

• Must have at least one weekend day available to work.

• Reliable transportation is a plus but not required.

• Must meet all applicable company and employment requirements.
