Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Phoenix Manufacturing Inc is looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our growing team in Oakdale, CA. Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to produce precision parts and components
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings to execute machining operations
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make offsets or program edits as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with shop safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet tight tolerances and delivery deadlines
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience in a production or job shop environment
- Proficiency with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes
- Basic understanding of G-code programming and CAM software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
