Experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Our growing plaintiff's law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling personal injury cases in litigation from filing through trial preparation and will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a busy caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury litigation files from inception through resolution
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, independent medical examinations, and hearings
  • Maintain and monitor litigation deadlines
  • Heavy calendaring of court dates, discovery deadlines, depositions, and attorney schedules
  • Communicate with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California litigation procedures and deadlines
  • Extensive calendaring experience and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
