We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Entry-Level Industrial Mechanical Technician with basic electrical knowledge to join our maintenance team in the City of Commerce. This position is ideal for someone who excels at hands-on mechanical troubleshooting, working with tools and industrial engines/machinery, and wants to grow in an industrial plant environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 / hr (DOE)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance, assembly, and repairs on industrial machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and engines.
• Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools to perform daily equipment servicing.
• Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (checking connections, basic wiring, and components) alongside the primary mechanical duties.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Mechanical Background: Strong practical experience working with mechanical equipment, hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery/motors.
• Electrical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals/wiring in an industrial setting.
• Language: Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and E-Verify authorization.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed (Schedule: M-F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + OT).
