Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Kerman, CA. In this full-time, full school year contract role, you’ll be providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload while collaborating closely with educators and support staff to foster academic and social success.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping students achieve developmental and communication goals. Bilingual Spanish-speaking professionals are highly valued, though fluency is not required. This onsite-only position offers 37.5 hours per week and will likely include support from SLPAs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC and/or eligibility; open to SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant CA school-based SLP experience
- At least 1 year of SEIS (Special Education Information System) documentation experience
- Strong background in managing high caseloads and handling referrals efficiently
- Previous supervision of SLPAs and facilitator collaboration is considered a plus
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred
- Able to adapt and thrive in a high-demand educational environment
- Must be comfortable working onsite (no virtual service offered)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech/language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Complete timely SEIS documentation and maintain accurate case files
- Collaborate with SLPA support staff as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to student success plans
- Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to SLPAs if required
As part of this assignment, your expertise is appreciated and well-compensated—monolingual therapists will receive a rate of $65/hr, while bilingual candidates enjoy $71/hr.
