Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1

You will assemble mechanical and electromechanical components to help the team deliver reliable production output on the 2nd shift. Your work affects downstream manufacturing, quality assurance, and test teams by ensuring components meet process and safety requirements. This is an onsite role: 2nd Shift, M–F | 1:30pm–10:00pm.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components according to instructions and procedures
  • Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
  • Position very small parts using tweezers, fixtures, and binocular microscope; bend, align, and solder fine wires
  • Bond or seal parts with epoxy using heaters or ovens and perform in-process testing
  • Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights/weekends or additional hours as needed

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience
  • Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
  • Basic math skills and ability to read/interprete safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range

$17.60 - $22.00/hour
