Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Traffic Coordinator to support domestic and international transportation operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking freight, providing transportation rate quotes, and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and has prior experience in transportation, logistics, or freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and route domestic and international shipments using the most efficient transportation methods.
- Track and trace shipments, providing timely updates to internal teams and external customers.
- Prepare and provide freight rate quotes while assisting with transportation-related inquiries.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Resolve shipping, routing, and delivery issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment data and transportation records within SAP and other systems.
- Generate reports and maintain documentation related to shipments, freight costs, and transportation activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
\n

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Strong customer service, communication, and telephone skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications
