Multiple full-time positions are available for Paraprofessionals/Instructional Aides in the North Bay area, working alongside teachers to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment at several elementary schools. Assignments begin August 17th, 2026, and run through June 11th, 2027.
You’ll have a consistent schedule (32.5 hours per week; shifts either 7:45am–2:45pm or 8:00am–3:00pm) and provide support to general education classrooms, helping students thrive academically and socially. Flexibility to work with various elementary age groups—ranging from Transitional Kindergarten to fifth grade—is important. Candidates should be willing to assist students needing help with tasks such as toileting and diapering.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in a school setting
- Ability to support children with personal care needs in a respectful, nurturing way
- A collaborative, flexible attitude and dedication to student growth
- Willingness to complete required paraprofessional training prior to the start date
- Reliable transportation; please verify commute feasibility, as some locations may require crossing a toll bridge
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers in daily classroom instruction and management
- Providing direct support to students individually or in small groups
- Helping implement accommodations or modifications for different learners
- Fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting students with toileting/diapering as needed
